Our Equipment
We operate 3 Dhows on our adventure safaris and marine activities. Dhows are markedly different to ships because of their lanteen sails and stitched construction. Define Dhow - Our Dhow Safari Equipment Our dhow safari equipment has either a 20 or 40hp motor. All dhows have a triangular sail as main power or as backup in the case of unfavorable wind patterns and depending on the conditions of the trip being undertaken. Life jackets are always on board as well as radio communication, 20lt drinking water and shade if necessary. Our dhows are also skippered by licensed skippers with many years of experience in these waters. Please have a look at our dhow specs below.
